Public Speaking:
I am always taking requests for speaking engagements.
In October 2008, I gave 2 guest lectures at PSU and 1 presentation to a student group. I am becoming more comfortable with giving speeches and presentations in general. To augment this I have joined Toastmasters to help.
On January 31st 2008, I gave an internal presentation to the developers of my company about Microsoft Virtual Earth and its interraction, as a web part, with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. The "Tech Session" went well; everyone said I did well but I am always much more critical of myself than others. Overall it was interesting and well received so that's all I can ask.
On Monday October 1st 2007, I gave my second speech to the SRA 111 class at Penn State University. It definately went better than the last years speech. The Powerpoints were better, the experince portion was better, and the Q & A went much better. Hopefully this will become a recurring speech every fall.
In April 2007, I gave my second professional speech. This one was at Marymount University. The speech was about LINUX and open source. The topics included history of linux, definition of linux and open source, linux market trends, statistics, and ROI. I feel that the speech was very well received and there was excellent Q & A afterwards.
I gave my first professional speech in November 2006 at my alma matter, Penn State. It was the "Real World Experience" speech. I felt that I went ok, I always have room for improvement. It should be available as a pod cast from IST at PSU. I will post the link whenever it becomes available.
I currently am freely volunteering my time and knowledge. If you would like to enlist my services in the areas of speaking, consulting, or writing, please contact me via email.

Develop your own
If you have other topics that you would like addressed, it may be possible to develop a speech around that.
Writing
---------
BLOGS: I currently maintain 2 blogs(tim ferro, OSS-biz) but I would love the opportunity to guest blog on other tech blogs, as well I would be honored if anyone would like to guest post on mine.
White Papers: I am considering a number of topics for white papers but I would be more than happy to help with yours.
Open Source: I currently write my own Open Source program (firefly) but that development has stalled so any legitimate open source project that would like my help, I would be more than happy to check it out and contribute.
Books/Magazines: I currently have no experience with this but I would consider any opportunity to break into this field.
